Meeting these standards tells planners, venues, and clients that you are not just another provider. You are a verified professional.
Insurance and Legal
- Active general liability insurance covering onsite childcare services
- Compliance with all applicable local and state regulations
- Written service agreements executed prior to every event
Background and Screening
- Background check completed for every individual providing direct care
- Verification documentation maintained and available upon request
Service Delivery
- Written scope of service provided to every client before the event
- Age-appropriate activities planned for each engagement
- Defined staffing ratios maintained throughout the event
- Arrival, setup, and breakdown procedures followed consistently
Safety and Emergency Preparedness
- Emergency contact and medical information collected for every child
- First aid supplies present at every event
- Incident response protocol documented and followed
- At least one CPR/First Aid certified individual on staff per event
Professional Conduct
- Professional communication with clients, planners, and venue staff
- Dress code and appearance standards appropriate to the event setting
- Confidentiality maintained regarding client and family information
- Timely invoicing and transparent pricing
Ongoing Compliance
- Annual review of insurance and background check documentation
- Adherence to updated ECS standards as published
- Removal from the directory for failure to maintain any listed requirement
